High Water – “Moonlight Mind” Review

From Other People is High Water’s “Moonlight Mind” from the upcoming record Crush.

The is track, ambient and simplistic. The instrumentation, though mostly trickled with bubbly synths and sway-worthy sounds, is surprising with carefully orchestrated guitar riffs and well-timed backing vocals. The vocals themselves are breathy and light, perfect for the change of seasons into summer.

It’s fresh while also maintaining a level of loose bass that is almost hypnotic. The trance-like vibrations leave listeners in a lush haze, which is sure to be an expected yet satisfying trend through the album.

Crush can be pre-ordered on iTunes now and is set to release in July.
