THEESatisfaction’s “EarthEE” (feat. Shabazz Palaces, Porter Ray & Erik Blood)

You can now listen to THEESatisfaction’s titled track EarthEE from the group’s forthcoming new album, available worldwide February 23/24 via Sub Pop.

With its melodic-rings and psychedelic-beats, it’s no wonder I can’t help myself from vibin’ too hard to this track. They sound different than anything I’ve come across in a while. With their mixture of that soul-singing and alternative hip-hop, it seems that spitting fire comes naturally to them.

This is what Gorilla vs. Bear had to say about the premiered track:

“Catch the warm breeze as Cat + Stas get spaced-out with their Black Constellation cohorts and label mates Porter Ray and the Palaceer on the laid back and lifted title track from their new LP”.

EarthEE was produced by THEESatisfaction and Erik Blood, mixed by Blood at Protect and Exalt Labs: A Black Space and mastered by Adam Straney at BreakPoint Mastering in Seattle. The album also features guest appearances such as: Shabazz Palaces, Meshell Ndegeocello, Porter Ray, Blood and Taylor Brown.

Preorders for EarthEE are now available from Sub Pop Mega Mart, iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp. All customers who pre-order the LP version of EarthEE from Sub Pop Mega Mart will receive the limited “Loser Edition” on emerald-colored vinyl and a 7” single with “I Don’t Like You” on the A-side, and “Supa Dupa (Love Affair)” on the B-side (while supplies last). Additionally, there will be two-new T shirt designs available as stand-alone items or as part of a bundle with purchases of EarthEE.

In further exciting news, fans can now listen to THEESatisfaction’s “Black Weirdo Radio,” a new playlist that will be featured on Spotify and on Sub Pop Radio channel through TuneIn. It features music from the group’s catalog, contemporaries and other musical inspirations.

Upcoming Tour Dates:

Feb. 26 – Seattle, WA – Neumos
Feb. 28 – Los Angeles, CA – Jewel’s Catch One
Mar. 06 – New York, NY – Santo’s Party House
