Review: Soul Numbers – Seneko

If you are looking for good old fashioned Connecticut folk alt americana, look no further than to the sounds of Seneko. Check out “Blindsider” for a taste of what their older stuff sounded like.

Soul Numbers is currently a Spotify exclusive, with all five of the tracks making quite the EP. “The Devil Don’t Know” packs quite a wallop, with terrific vocal work from lead singer Stan Olshefski.

Another highlight on the EP in the closing track, “One Hot Shot.” The song broods with confidence, ending the project with the same type of wandered feeling “Blindsider” and their early work deliver, just not as well.
