Review: PatrickAmes – All I Do Is Bleed

With this new release, the 60 year old singer-songwriter continues to try and perform fresh music with a different sound than his earlier work. With “All I Do Is Bleed,” Ames makes moaning, rambling, poetically sad schlock into a soulful, reverb-heavy acoustic ballad, especially on “I Want You.”

There is a certain amount of experience in PatrickAmes music, with “Te Amaba Locamente” showing the range of the singer’s discography.

The dueling vocals, pumping drums, and soft guitar swaying back and forth over the beat make the track an instant standout. The guitar work shines here, with a faint solo towards the end of the song. Definitely give it a listen.
