Happy Holidays all! It is a well-deserved time of positive changes and optimistic things to come as 2019 comes happily knocking. What better way to celebrate than with some fresh tunes dedicated to the most joyful of seasons? Luckily, Dauntless Media has come to the rescue with some cheer filled with an impressive roster of musical stars on its new release; ‘Dauntless Records: Be Dauntless Holiday 2018 – Volume 1‘. The collection features the ever-stunning Aria Jay, spit-master extraordinaire Deon (who unveils the first ever original trap song for the holidays), smooth songstress Clara Kent and the slick R&B bits of Justo Ontario. This little throng of songs, just under 11 minutes, provides an entertaining glimpse into the talent of each artist and leaves the listener curious for more. Break out the hot chocolate with whipped cream and relax by the roaring fire with a musical treat.

Miss Aria Jay, who always seems to make a lasting impression in the music scene and with her design skills on her signature DRIP campaign, starts things off flawlessly. She carries her clear passion with a captivating rendition of Donny Hathaway‘s This Christmas. Supported by the production skills of Rocco ‘Capotal’ Vitolo, who also produced Deon’s track, the song is filled with what lovely Aria Jay flair of polished vocals that result in immense listening satisfaction. “…it’s hands down my favorite Christmas song. It’s such a classic, it honestly can hold up at any time of year for me.” She remains a musician who is never afraid to explore and showcase that superb vocal range that makes her so loved. This Christmas is the perfect way to begin.

Winter Song follows from yet another titan in the field, Clara Kent. Filled with sultry magic, the track invokes that winter wonderland that can be shared by many this season combined with staple jazz influences. Whether listeners choose to stay warm inside or set their mind to building a snowman out in the brisk cold, Clara’s song will be the ideal soundtrack all the way through well into the New Year. Music fans will be sure to revel in its tangible bliss and be swept away peacefully.

Bringing that family feel together, Justo Ontario, unveils his legendary chops on For the Fam. Despite being the shortest track in the arrangement, it is has a lasting impression nonetheless. That common familial camaraderie, including the craziness that usually is paired with it, is aptly felt with Justo’s rhythm and blues crooning. “This song is about me reminiscing my childhood holiday nostalgia in hopes that it’ll happen again sometime…” The man is the epitome of the groove and always seems to convey a sense of lasting confidence in his lyrics. Even when speaking in person, his passion for the craft only goes to support his devotion to music. That community energy is alive and well with Mr. Ontario.

Now listeners come to the sweet ending which also seems to be the climax of everything one can want in musical delight. Deon, wordsmith master, brings out his flair with A Dauntless Records Holiday. Sampling a mixture of bits that causes all music lovers to sing aloud and dance with ease. Deon’s hip-hop poetry shines as he explodes with a flourish of strength that will pummel right through Santa’s snow-white beard. Dancing will remain the norm for holiday celebrations and Deon is just the man to keep it all alive.
