Oh that handsome devil Axel Mansoor is back, and he’s got a little surprise in store. Father Time is the first taste of his Somerset EP, which sees Mansoor trade in his electronic vibes for pure acoustica. And it works a bloody treat, unveiling just how much of a talented songwriter and performer he is as he discusses a quarter-life crisis. That sleeve isn’t entirely remiss, as this is one of the songs that feels like laying in a hammock in the afternoon sun; essentially a lovely little tune that’s well worth your time if you fancy an antidote to the streaming noise.
