Multi-talented, Scotland-born artist Be Charlotte is one to watch. She put herself on the radar in the British scene as a purveyor of an unrestrained, lyrically ambitious brand of pop music. She and her band are embarking on a European tour to start off 2017, but before she hits the road, she decided to give us “One Drop,” her latest single.

“One Drop” is a characteristically energetic burner of a pop song. She melds into the thick, rapid-fire drums, and searing guitar play with her charming vocals. Her lyrical acumen is evident throughout, with introspective, poetic diction that lends the song an air of mystery. The melodically-rhymed chorus, where she notes, “one drop dilutes the ocean, can’t be reversed,” is an especially poignant set of bars and a clever juxtaposition against the rest of the dance-floor ready jam.

It’s that level of versatility that fans are clamoring to see on her upcoming tour, which she recently announced new Scotland dates for on her Facebook page.
