Judd Apatow brings us another movie that pretends to be funny, just to trap you into a relationship talk. Apatow latest movies are like a relationship with a shitty person that is really charming in front of everyone else, but beats you with a bag of soap bars while you’re asleep. Sure, the sex is great, but you’re always afraid to hurt its exposed nerves. This is 40 is a spin-off sequel of Judd Apatow’s shitty Knocked Up, so you know, his wife has a job, his kids got work and we have to sit through it and pretend that it’s a really witty and intelligent adult comedy for adults.
